Research and Project Overview
Challenge
The project involved creating a website for Foundation Sixty6 along with a marketing and advertising campaign to promote awareness of the importance of mental health and improve accessibility to these services. The website was to include a donation section for those willing to support the organization, and a content management system (CMS) was developed to facilitate easy content updates.
Brainstorming and Research
During the brainstorming session, the search for a logo, typography selection, and colors associated with mental health began. A thorough investigation was conducted into the different types of layouts for each webpage, exploring various examples and proposals. Additionally, visual elements that convey calmness, serenity, and emotional support were considered, aligning with the objectives of Foundation Sixty6.
Process
During the development process, we focused on creating a user-friendly interface and seamless functionality for the website, ensuring quick and efficient access to information and services related to mental health. We started with the creation of the logo and wireframes, as well as the marketing campaign strategy using visual material. Then, we progressed to front-end development and finally set up the database with the customized CMS.
Solution
The solution involved designing web prototypes for each page, tailored to different screen sizes, and creating a unique logo that represented the essence of the organization. A style guide was also established to maintain visual consistency, and illustrations, graphics, videos, and animations were created for the marketing campaign and website content. Additionally, a custom content management system was developed to allow administrators to easily update the site's content.
